With over 200 distributors spread across six continents, Federal Tires is a brand recognised for its commitment to ethics, social responsibility, and environmental protection through green globalisation.
Founded in Taiwan in 1954, Federal Tire benefited from technical cooperation with Bridgestone Corporation from 1960 to 1979 and with Sumitomo Rubber Industries (Dunlop Tires) from 1981 to 2000. These collaborations enabled Federal to acquire the technical expertise necessary to produce its own tyre brand – Federal Tires. Today, Federal boasts a strong network of overseas distributors, with more than 182 national/regional representatives in 121 countries. In the domestic market, distribution channels are managed by its subsidiary, Federex Marketing Corporation.
Thanks to cutting-edge technology, strict quality control, and highly regulated safety standards, Federal continues to develop innovative, high-quality tyres for UHP, SUV, LTR, and PCR lines. The brand has experienced significant growth through the continuous improvement of its full range of high-quality tyres, including UHP, SUV, and winter tyres.
To effectively address all issues, Federal has implemented the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) programme, aimed at ensuring detailed quality control throughout the company. As part of this programme, Federal has also introduced the “Self Motivated Quality Assurance System” for its frontline personnel.
To maintain and enhance Federal’s outstanding performance, the brand has implemented ISO-90001 standards and adopted QS-9000 parameters for quality assurance. Over the years, Federal has also received several awards and certificates from car manufacturers such as Ford and GM.
