Tyres have just been fitted. At first glance, although they are RunFlat by nature more rigid than normal tyres, they are noticeably more comfortable than the CONTINENTAL Contisportcontact 5 XL fitted on the car when purchased. This is very noticeable when crossing the countless speed bumps, speed cushions, and other sleeping policemen that now litter our roads, which were once so pleasant to drive on. Many of these installations are actually completely illegal as they are non-compliant, but that's another topic... or is it! In terms of fuel consumption, I haven't driven enough kilometres to judge any change, for better or worse, compared to the previous set. Although it is more of a feeling than anything else, the road noise also seems slightly less present, and the handling on dry or wet roads is impeccable. Longevity obviously cannot be assessed yet; I will see over time, but I hope for longevity at least equivalent to the CONTINENTAL, around 50,000 km before almost reaching the wear indicators. The price is the lowest available for tyres certified by BMW as the original fit for the X6.
