Heidenau is a German tyre brand whose history dates back to 1946. In its early days, Heidenau had around a dozen employees and produced 35 tyre models. In 2018, the company employed more than 200 people at its headquarters near Dresden and produced 550 unique tyre models. These products are distributed in 45 countries worldwide, including the United States, India, Greece, Brunei, Chile, Mexico, and Istanbul.

After more than 60 years in existence, Heidenau can boast a rich and eventful history. Founded in 1946, the company began by manufacturing moulded rubber products. In 1952, Heidenau changed course and started producing tyres for cars and industry. In 1959, Heidenau focused on producing two-wheeler tyres under the Pneumant brand, which ended in 1993. That same year, Reifenwerk Heidenau GmbH & Co. KG was established with a focus on producing two-wheeler tyres, kart tyres, and special tyres, a direction that continues to this day.

In 1993, Heidenau offered 35 tyre sizes. Today, the company offers a range of 550 tyre models for most applications. Its flexible production processes enable it to meet very specific requirements, develop individual solutions, and manufacture products of the highest quality, made in Germany.
