The Kormoran Summer 3 is a balanced summer choice designed for passenger cars driven mainly in urban environments or on wet and dry roads. Its revamped tread delivers increased wear resistance, offering around 10% longer life than the previous generation without reducing tread depth. Rolling resistance has also been improved, helping to cut fuel consumption while maintaining excellent value for money. The tread pattern features a dynamic design that combines modern looks with performance. Greater sidewall stiffness enhances handling and durability, and a dynamic wear indicator makes it easier to monitor tyre condition.

Regarding the order and delivery, I can only praise the speed of processing. This Summer 3 model has covered too few kilometres for me to give reliable feedback; so far, they are neither worse nor better than any other brand I have tried. I have previously had Kormoran Road Performance tyres, with rubber that was too soft, which meant faster wear but also more comfort. These Summer 3 tyres seemingly feel firmer; they do not compromise comfort, and as for durability, it is not possible to assess at the moment.
I’ve driven about 3,000 km so far and the tyres are quiet, with excellent grip on both dry and wet roads, and low rolling resistance, resulting in improved fuel consumption. I recommend them.
Top tyres, recommended.
Half a year ago I fitted it on the front axle and now on the rear. Grip is good in dry and wet conditions. Road noise is lower than what I had before. They were Nexen. It also uses a bit less fuel. Now it’s a matter of finding out how many kilometres they last. Good value for money.
Standard tyres
I’ve still not done enough miles to form an opinion. But I wanted something other than made-in-China tyres to replace the ones on the front axle. These tyres are made in Serbia, and Kormoran is part of the Michelin Group. As the rear tyres will need replacing by the end of the year, I’ll probably go for the same ones again.
So far, so good: good grip and a nice tread pattern. I had the other Kormoran model in the same size and they worked very well; I hope these will too.
So far, everything is fine! Excellent grip even in wet conditions.
Excellent value for money. Recommended.
So far, everything is fine: good value for money. As for durability, I can’t comment yet.
