Snow tyres that do their job; we crossed the Col du Lautaret covered in snow as if the road were normal. Be careful, though: if you need to set off again on an uphill stretch covered in compacted, hardened snow, they will still spin. It’s better to plan on having chains or snow socks for that eventuality.
