The Maxxis Vansmart A/S AL2 is aimed at vans and light commercial vehicles. It’s a 4-season tyre that meets the highest requirements for light truck fleets. The central 3-rib tread design makes for a good driving experience on wet or snowy roads. The 3D sipe design gives you safe traction in wintry driving conditions. The rubber compound with its silica content helps improve moisture resistance and rolling resistance. Increased rigidity of the shoulder blocks reduces wear and thus enables extremely high mileage even with the heaviest vehicle loads.

The old ones lasted 16 years and were also put under quite a lot of strain from time to time due to overloading. The tread had now split, and I needed replacements. As I never know when I will need the trailer, and when I do, I really need it, I bought the tyres with the snowflake symbol. They were a bit more expensive, but if I do happen to be out and about in winter, no one can take issue with that.
Order received fairly quickly, products match my order; nothing to say.
Good tyre, delivered on time.
Very good quality tyre, much quieter and far more stable than anything I’ve tried before. The dry and wet road grip is excellent for an all-season tyre, and they are excellent on frosty roads. I don’t really see much difference in fuel consumption, but it’s not worse. Looking at them after 5,000 km, I have no reason to doubt that they will last a decent distance. Very happy with these.
So far, I’m getting on well.
We have been using the Maxxis brand for years and are satisfied with the mileage and grip in wet conditions and in winter. In our last review, we mixed up the DOT year with the week. Sorry.
Never disappointed with MAXXIS, and very satisfied with the professionalism and fast shipping from the Grip500fr team!
Good, sturdy tyre for my heavily loaded van. I can’t say anything about the lifespan yet because they’ve only just been fitted, and if I could already do so now, that wouldn’t be a good sign.
Good tyre. I'm satisfied.
I was looking for all-season tyres for my van and it can only be fitted with special tyres. As my budget wasn’t high enough for Michelin, etc., the Maxxis tyres are a cheaper mid-range option but of very high quality, with low rolling resistance, quieter than many more expensive tyres, and they last about 50,000 km because I drive on them all year round. I have tried cheaper tyres, but that was no success—very poor quality and a danger on the road. I recommend the Vansmart from Maxxis.
