The Michelin Primacy 5 profile stands out for its ability to meet the demands of a wide range of vehicles, from compact cars to saloons, as well as SUVs, medium 4x4s, and even some electric vehicles. This model is designed to offer drivers an optimised and serene driving experience.
The main features of the Michelin Primacy 5 profile include:
The MICHELIN Primacy 5 tyre is designed to maintain a high level of safety when driving on wet roads. When new, it reduces wet braking distance by 4% and maintains equivalent performance once worn, compared with the Primacy 4+. This consistency contributes to more reassuring everyday use.
Rated “A” for wet grip under European labelling, this tyre features MICHELIN EverGrip and MICHELIN EverTread technologies. Its optimised tread pattern and redesigned tread promote efficient water evacuation, ensuring effective braking throughout its service life, without compromising longevity.
The Primacy 5 summer tyre is designed to offer extended service life while maintaining a high level of safety. It delivers an 18% mileage gain compared with the previous generation, meeting durability expectations.
Thanks to MaxTouch technology, the contact patch with the road is optimised to evenly distribute the forces associated with acceleration, braking and cornering. This design contributes to more even tread wear, without any negative impact on performance. The new patented rubber compound also improves abrasion resistance, enhancing the tyre’s overall longevity.
The Michelin Primacy 5 is designed to adapt to the specific constraints of electric vehicles. Its high-performance rubber compound helps reduce rolling resistance, which contributes to limiting energy consumption and preserving battery range.
Combined with enhanced longevity, its tread pattern has been developed to reduce noise disturbances, particularly noticeable inside an electric vehicle. This design promotes increased driving comfort and a quieter everyday experience.

I have not driven many kilometres with them yet, but I have been using Michelin for years and they have never disappointed me.
I bought two tyres manufactured in 2026, just 11 weeks beforehand. It is April 2026, so the tyres are practically new.
I have been a Michelin tyre customer for a long time, for the comfort, grip and low noise level while driving. For all these reasons, I remain a fan of Michelin tyres.
Amazing value for money.
Excellent tyres, recent DOT (at the time of purchase, manufactured 4 weeks earlier). Pleasantly surprised by the “made in Italy”.
Perfect as usual.
The tyres work very well. Excellent rolling performance; compared with the previous tyres, consumption is 0.1 to 0.3 dl/100 km lower. Good grip on wet/dry roads.
The tyres are great.
A good product.
What mattered to me was a comfortable tyre with low road noise. The Primacy 5 has more than met my expectations! I’m very satisfied! The other driving characteristics are, typically for Michelin, of course perfect. I can’t say anything about mileage yet, as the tyre hasn’t been fitted for long enough.
