The original design called Dual Zone Safety ensures that the tire benefits from excellent grip and precision in handling. The Power Zone allows for perfect handling on dry roads while the Wet Safety Zone greatly limits the risks associated with aquaplaning and thus increases the feeling of safety on wet ground. The new durable profile, the sleek design and the resistant blocks of the tread, the sloping pattern of the grooves with steep edges are all ingredients allowing for driving in dry conditions as precise as it is controlled.
Wet Safety Zone: a biting grip on wet roads. The winding grooves are wider at the bottom than at the surface, which gives the tire the ability to store water, then to precipitate its flow to greatly reduce the risks of skidding on the water film. The grooves are evenly distributed in the pattern and have indented faces like horns to expel water more quickly.

The half-sphere notches, like those on a golf ball, present on the sides of the circumferential grooves, significantly increase the pleasure of driving.
