For several seasons, my chosen tire has stood out especially in wet conditions, where the silicon content makes itself felt with incredible grip even in sharp bends. The price-performance ratio of this tire is simply unbeatably good! (Approx. 35000 km mileage)

Excellent tire: this is my 4th one on the rear. I mount one size smaller than the original (so 110 instead of 120), it is super manageable and maintains good grip.

I have now fitted the Avon AV54 Trailrider for the second season, after riding with a Heidenau K60 all winter in the snow. So far, I am very satisfied with the handling of the Avon, as it lasts much longer than the original Pirelli MT60. Of course, the Avon AV54 needs to be handled with a lot of caution on wet and damp off-road surfaces. However, on gravel and asphalt roads, the tire is very grippy and it also suits me as a compromise for light off-road use in good weather.

Mixed driving asphalt, gravel, ok.

So far, no problems. Across Spain, France, and Italy, whether in rain or sun without any issues.
