Great tyre, quick warm-up, excellent grip in the wet, outstanding grip on dry roads.
Great grip even in cooler temperatures, short warm-up time, only slight self-damping – yet extremely stable, no tendency to stand up when braking in corners – perfect for me!
An excellent pair of tyres! They’re also superbly directionally stable, even under light braking in a bend. The warm-up time, especially in cool temperatures, is noticeably better than with the Supercorsa V3 and they are easier to ride in the wet. However, at temperatures above 30 °C, the Pirelli feels a touch better, offering more lean thanks to its grip and compound. But how often do we have temperatures above 30 °C here? Very rarely. I’m extremely happy with these tyres, as they provide plenty of grip and are very comfortable even when touring. I can’t yet comment on mileage, but I can say this: even when ridden hard, there are no immediately visible signs of wear compared with the Supercorsa V3.
