Perfect snow chain, but there are errors in the size chart of the instructions. So, try it on yourself and, if necessary, extend the chain by (very simply) removing the pins. How to do this is clearly indicated.
I purchased this type of chains because of their main features: designed for cars with limited space between the wheel and the wheel arch, easy to fit, and safe for rims. The Pewag Servo Star RSC 910V chains are intended for wheels with tyres of size 235/50/20 on my vehicle. According to the fitting instructions for this size (as part of the preparation), I should initially unscrew 5 bolts with the light green sleeve to adjust the chain length to the tyre circumference. Unfortunately, this was not enough! The chains could not be fitted onto the tyre in any way, they were too tight - I had to remove (unscrew) the remaining 3 (with the grey sleeve), meaning all that can be removed in this type of chain, totalling eight (8), which also means the chains cannot be "extended" any further. But despite removing more "shortcut" bolts than the instructions suggest, they are not easy to fit and even harder to remove, as they are very tight. A potential buyer should take a significant note of the instructions for this type of chain and thoroughly practice their use before heading to the mountains. In the past, I have used chains from the same manufacturer - but a different type/method of fitting - in a vehicle where the space between the tyre and the wheel arch was not restricted, and "traditional" chains could be fitted easily and in accordance with the instructions. Despite the difficulties, I will stick with this product (I don't have time for changes), but I am surprised by the difficulties and the discrepancy with the manufacturer's instructions.
A bit of searching at the beginning for the correct installation, but once that's done, it's quite easy to put them on. Now to see when it snows, when it's cold, and also to check the grip in the snow, but that's difficult at the end of August. I still recommend the product.
