The goal consisted in creating an impressive marketing platform to showcase high performance tyres. The brand entered the European market as early as 1998.

At Falken, tyres go through extremely demanding quality screenings. All production sites are ISO 9001 certified.. Moreover, the Sumimoto group plants have a ISO 14001 certification related to environment protection. The tyres for buses, coaches, trucks, vans and construction vehicles are sold under the OHTSU brand.
