Tightening the wheel nuts

Changing a wheel is a crucial step to ensure you respect the safety regulation with your vehicle.

Before tightening your bolts/lugs, make sure the thread is clear of dust/ dirt... that may damage it.

Start with tightening the nuts manually without excessive force. Use wrench only a second step and in respect of the tightening order ( determined by the number of bolts):

Failure to do so may lead to wheel damage for being incorrectly secured

Don't get over excited when you tighten your bolts. The last thing you want is to damage the bolt thread or worse, the axle!!! .

Once your nuts are secured, you are ready to go. You are advised to check on the bolts after the first 50 miles in order to ensure they are still properly secured ( vibrations may cause them to loosen).
