I have driven 400 km since fitting the tyres. Living in Normandy, today, Thursday 21st November, I was able to test the tyres in the snow... and there was a good thirty centimetres of it with drifts of 40/60 cm... The tyres grip well in deep snow, I easily pulled 5 vehicles out of drifts and ditches, I have a Land Rover Defender 110 TD5. This weekend I will be able to test them in snow and mud for the "Plaines et Vallées" Off-Road Rally as an organisation vehicle, the 0TT. The tyres are noisy on the road, be careful on wet roads and in roundabouts... 🥴
Good tyres with a great height and large treads that allow the 4x4 to be lifted. It's a shame that the 116 index is no longer available, which forces me to be borderline for the technical inspection. This tyre is great for mud, but it's not very directive when trying to get out of a rut. The downside of this retreaded tyre is that it starts to crack and split after 6 or 7 years (I've already bought 4 sets over the past fifteen years), when fitted to a vehicle that doesn't drive much: this forces you to change them before they're really worn out... The sidewalls are quite flexible and aren't very resistant when you hit a stump at a slow pace, but this allows you to drive at less than 1 bar in difficult terrain. On the road, the vehicle takes up the whole road, swaying a bit, with quite a noticeable noise, but that's the price to pay for getting out of a sticky situation on a very muddy track...
Good off-road
Excellent grip, put maximum 1.2kg/tires for a Vitara and it's more than perfect for off-roading, very good in mud. Quite noisy on the road, can't win on all fronts.
Very good off-road tire, great for big mud holes. Stable on the road up to 110 km/h. I recommend it!!
