The Gripmax SureGrip Pro IceX is a winter tyre designed for cars and SUVs, engineered to tackle harsh winter conditions. Its compound, softer than that of the previous generation, improves contact on ice. The tread pattern combines tight lateral grooves with zigzag longitudinal grooves to enhance traction and grip on snow and black ice. The asymmetric design provides targeted performance distribution: the inner and central zones are optimised for snow and slush, while the outer section, with wider blocks, boosts grip and stability on dry roads. Open shoulder blocks facilitate the evacuation of snow, mud or sand, and the high density of sipes increases the number of biting edges for better grip on ice and snow.
