The solid central rib enhances straight-line stability, while the small lateral grooves provide optimal braking performance. The increased contact area enhances grip capacity and also improves handling and braking performance. Four wide longitudinal grooves increase water evacuation, improving cornering performance and handling on wet roads. The extended design of the sipes expands the contact area between the rubber and the road, which improves control and stability in corners, especially at high speeds.
