Peugeot 206 1.4 HDi. Less than 500 km of use. The studs protrude sufficiently on ice. Tested in deep snow over 2 to 3 km: the wide spacing between the tread blocks is very effective, and only the 206’s low ground clearance limits progress. In reverse, the sprays of snow are impressive.
The studded tyres are waiting for winter.
