To date, these are the best I've bought for the front axle (255/40 R18). It's already 5 years with this vehicle and 200000 km covered, almost always on the highway. These Michelin tires are super grippy and exceptionally safe. They show no resonance or parasitic noises. The car has greatly changed the fuel consumption pattern and the price was quite acceptable considering the Premium range and the quality of the tire. I've had Yokohama, Pirelli, and Good Year, none of these brands showed as much influence on fuel consumption reduction as these Michelins. Durability remains to be analyzed, but if they do the normal 50000 km for the front axle, I won't change. Let's see if they beat the Good Year Eagle 1 which did an exceptional 80,000 km on this axle. It's a shame there's no same reference for the rear axle which has different dimensions (285/R18/35). I'm inclined to change the rear rims, standardize both axles with this tire and understand the impact on consumption with 4 identical tires.
Nice tyres (handling, braking) but very soft rubber that wears out quickly. Delivered with packaging completely in tatters, no protection, a shame!
