Based on several years and the tire series of this brand/model, I bought a new series now too. It seems to be one of the quietest and most comfortable studded tires to drive on!
I had a Michelin tyre on my Toyota seven years ago that was similar to this one (a pure winter tyre). My rating in every category (apart from it being a little noisier) is a clear five. For 11 years I have bought only Michelin tyres, and for the past seven full years I have been filling up with Austrian Super Diesel 100 from OMV. Since then I hardly even notice I own a car; I simply receive an SMS from Toyota inviting me for a service and asking me to book two days in advance. Fuel consumption with the Austrian diesel is EXACTLY as per the factory specification, down to the millilitre.
Good tires
In the other car, I had the same ones, so I thought I would get the same for this one too. The price was the most advantageous at the time of purchase and the tires arrived on time. The installation will not take place until next winter.
Good performance on snow and ice, but loose performance on dry and wet road due to the soft tire construction. Noisy like most other stud tires.
Good grip on slippery and icy roads, quiet. Too few kilometres so far to be able to comment on wear.
I am very satisfied with these studded tires, I am happy with them!
