Based on the XAS, the Michelin XVS tyre is designed to display the essential grip behaviour for vehicles capable of speeds over 200km/h.
With its flat tread pattern and water drainage grooves, it follows the philosophy of its predecessor.
The shoulder pattern is distinctly different from the tread pattern and is designed to meet the high stresses endured by a tyre travelling at high speed on a winding road.
The tread pattern features "variable steps" to reduce rolling noise emissions. All these innovations give the XVS tyre exemplary behaviour, well in tune with the development of the qualities of the automobiles of its era.
