Great tyres for the price!
I’ve always been a Michelin supporter, but over the last few years, with prices skyrocketing, I’ve turned to other tyre manufacturers and settled on the MINERVA FROSTRACK. It was a genuinely pleasant surprise in everyday use, fitted as the original set on a Volvo S60 2.4D 163 bhp. I’m in my forties and I drive in a fairly conventional way — not like my grandad, but I don’t think I’m Sébastien Loeb either. These tyres have nothing to be ashamed of compared with other major manufacturers’ brands. For me, the value for money is genuinely impressive... Be careful with the price of certain sizes: for the most common ones, the price can rise slightly. As far as I’m concerned, I don’t hesitate to adjust my tyre size slightly, while staying within the maximum 3% tolerance. And I always end up finding a fitment at a very good price. I recommend the Minerva Frostrack without hesitation to anyone who’s unsure about trying it — as the saying goes, try it and you’ll adopt it.
The tyre runs very quietly on the road; I’m very surprised. I’ve driven about 2,000 km: it grips well in snow and slush, and in the wet it tracks true.
