After switching from the old, hard winter tyre, this one is damn good. Very good grip on ice and snow, and on slippery surfaces. Comfortable, with good stability in corners. For now, I’m really damn impressed with the tyre. Very good value for money!
Amazingly quiet for a winter tyre! Great grip on both wet and dry road surfaces, as well as on black ice (haven’t had snow yet). It drives very directly for a winter tyre; it will never give a UHP feel, but for a winter tyre it’s absolutely fine — and at this price! Previously I had Bridgestone Blizzak and Michelin X-Ice, and this one is no worse, but for significantly less money.
Great tyre for this price. See the ADAC test in Germany; very good on ice (so also ideal on slippery roads at temperatures around freezing, i.e., on refreezing sections).
