Its tread combines three-dimensional sipes that promote block rigidity and control on snow-covered or icy roads, with shoulders inspired by summer tyres, ensuring good stability and effective road holding on dry surfaces. The tread width, increased compared with the previous generation, contributes to better control on snow and ice.
The design of the central and longitudinal grooves optimises water evacuation to limit the risk of aquaplaning, while the new rubber compound improves performance on wet roads. The multi-pitch block arrangement helps reduce road noise for improved acoustic comfort during everyday journeys.
