Good road holding.
I’ve bought these tyres many times. On my other cars I used them for several seasons. Overall, they’re not the best sports tyre, but they are one of the nicest-looking. They have a rim protector too; it’s smaller than on the more expensive premium tyres, but at least it’s there. The successor, the NS-20, doesn’t even have that. I’ve had those as well. In very hot weather on dry roads, during emergency braking they squeal loudly, but they don’t slip noticeably. They grip quite well, but they’re not outstanding. In terms of price/value/looks in Europe, this tyre is unbeatable when bought new. During long-term use below 10°C or sustained use around 0°C, small cracks of about half to one centimetre appear in the tread. It’s still usable, but there will be a lot of them. I used them in England summer and winter for three years, and by the third summer the tread was full of hairline cracks. So in autumn they need to be taken off and stored somewhere frost-free.
Top value for money, the website is the best, I'm completely satisfied with the tyres.
BMW 735i. Almost 2,000 kg in weight. Perfect grip, both in dry and wet conditions. With two tyres fitted, waiting for the other two... Excellent tyres.
