This tyre is fitted with a wear indicator (DSI) that makes it easy to identify the right time for replacement. The numbers visible on the tread indicate the remaining depth in millimetres and gradually fade as the tyre wears. To maintain a level of safety suitable for winter driving, a tread depth between 4 and 5 millimetres is recommended. The snowflake pictogram remains visible until the depth reaches 4 millimetres; its disappearance indicates that the tyres need to be replaced to maintain safe driving.
