The Pirelli Cinturato P7 255/45 R19 104Y (XL, AO, NCS) is designed in order to significantly reduce noise produced by the rolling resistance. Every aspect of the tyre, from the tread, to the materials, to the design were specially made to provide an affordable, easy to handle tyre that performs well when braking. In the manufacturing process, Pirelli entirely rejected the use of strong aromatic oils. Compared to the previous model, the Cinturato P7 255/45 R19 104Y (XL, AO, NCS) displays a rolling resistance reduced by 20%. This features makes it possible to save up to 24% in fuel consumption. Environment friendly and reliable.

Pirelli Noise Cancelling System™ (PNCS)

The Pirelli Noise Cancelling System™ (PNCS) allows for the reduction of noise produced by tires when in contact with the road. Rolling noise encompasses all vibrations emitted within the structure and which spread throughout the vehicle. The Pirelli Noise Cancelling System™ increases driver comfort by minimizing this rolling noise.
These vibrations are literally absorbed by the patented Pirelli foam, which minimizes the noise reaching the vehicle's interior, for improved comfort compared to traditional tires.
With the Pirelli Noise Cancelling System™, two to three decibels less are emitted, which is at least twice as less noise inside the vehicle.

Very good tyres but low profile gives a harsh ride and is susceptible to damage on our potholed roads. I have had to replace 2 damaged tyres in 30k miles, otherwise good longevity.
