The Evoltour PEV80 summer tyre focuses on quietness, range, stability and safety on wet roads. Its design combines intermittently closed grooves, a multi-directional tread pattern and a reinforced structure to meet the specific demands of electric driving.
The intermittently closed lateral grooves, positioned on the outer section, limit noise generated by airflow. Their optimised angle, combined with irregular-pitch tread blocks, reduces resonance effects at road contact and helps create a quieter cabin.
The new-generation compound based on solution-polymerised styrene-butadiene rubber, combined with new materials, helps reduce rolling resistance and energy consumption. The wide central rib and the optimised tread arrangement promote more even wear and better long-term durability.
For vehicle control, the multi-angle design improves grip during acceleration and changes of direction. The semi-closed outer shoulder enhances road holding, while the open inner shoulder improves water evacuation on wet roads.
The internal structure also contributes to comfort and safety. The jointless nylon belt, high-strength steel belts and the balanced carcass design limit deformation and vibrations, while reinforcing tyre stability during driving.
