Unbeatable value for money
These tyres have been fitted but I haven’t driven on them yet. However, the all-season tyres of the same brand that I bought at the same time are now on the car, and I’ve already driven 2,500 km on them in dry and wet conditions, with snow, and I’m satisfied on all fronts (road holding, braking distance, fuel consumption).
Excellent tyres fitted on the rear axle of a 2017 Citroën C5 Tourer 2.0 BlueHDi; they pair very well with the factory adjustable suspension. Grip in the dry and the wet, in a straight line and through corners, without any unexpected issues.
I’m buying it for the second time. Good quality.
The ZSR2s have nothing to do with the ZSRs fitted to the vehicle when I bought it. Wear was irregular, the sidewalls were soft, handling in the dry was acceptable and in the wet borderline dangerous. The ZSR2 is much stiffer, without being uncomfortable. Tyre behaviour is consistent. Road noise is frankly exceptional. As for road holding, it’s really good. In the dry the tyre has grip and holds its line through corners. Steering feedback is fairly precise and directional stability is excellent. As for the wet, without performing miracles, the tyre is safe, not tricky, and breaks away progressively. After 8,000 km driven (80% town, 10% motorway, 10% roads), wear is even and suggests you can still expect another 20,000 km of use without any issues. In short, for half the price of a Michelin you get 80% of the performance qualities (in terms of noise it’s even better than a Primacy) and around 20% less lifespan. It’s a good tyre. As good as its predecessor was bad.
Order arrived on time. Tyres fitted just under 1,000 km ago, very satisfied.
Very satisfactory tyre with excellent road holding. I didn’t notice any difference compared with the old Pirelli P0. The Sailun tyres are, however, less noisy. Now we’ll have to see how long they last.
At first glance, a good tyre overall, but given the low mileage covered since the purchase, it is difficult to be exhaustive about its quality.
