Great tires. Very satisfied....

Tire purchased for the second time, only for the front axle of a Ford Focus II Mk2. Grip on dry road is great in tight curves, it easily maintains the trajectory. The last tire, after 20,000 km at 2.4 bar, was completely worn on the sides, but the center still had 20% utilization. On wet road, they behave very well, but are not suitable for sporty use. Recommended if you drive few kilometers and frequent many winding roads.

Love these tyres, total changed how the car feels compared to the previous Avons.

Previously equipped with HANKOOK VENTUS, I noticed a very big difference especially when the tires started to wear out. With TOYO after 30,000 Kms of very sporty driving, no difference in road holding, neither on dry nor on wet. I am waiting to see the real longevity, but for me no hesitation, when they are worn out, I will mount the same ones bought at centrale pneus again.

To date, this is the best tyre I’ve had fitted, based on my preferences. I give them a high overall score after 5,000 km because, frankly, they excel in every respect. My use is about 80% on roads. I live in a winding area with bends taken at 40–80 km/h and I also drive on main and secondary roads, plus a bit of motorway at weekends. In general I drive briskly and often push the car in corners. Previously I had Continental SportContact 5s. The main differences with these tyres are, firstly, that although the compound feels soft before fitting, the carcass keeps its shape remarkably well, so in corners it’s like having top-grade suspension. Through the same bends the car sits much better and is far more stable, so cornering speeds are higher. Dry grip is flawless, with no surprises even on poor surfaces, and road noise has also improved. They’re said not to be the quietest, but for me the improvement over the Continentals is notable—and I replaced those before they were worn out. Fuel consumption has dropped by 0.2 litres per 100 km (I always do the same routes). Steering is very precise and direction changes are quick. On open roads or motorways it tracks as if on rails. It absorbs irregularities far better than the Continentals. In the wet I’ve driven in heavy, though not torrential, rain while exploring the limits. I was able to maintain the same brisk pace as in the dry with no surprises. Here I expected worse behaviour, as I used Uniroyals a lot before, but these have nothing to envy. I’m not saying you can drive flat-out as if nothing were different—any critical situation in the wet is never the same as in the dry—but the fact I could keep that pace through tight corners without the traction control even kicking in is, to me, positive. I haven’t tried them in the wet at high speed (above 150 km/h), so I don’t know how the tread copes if you encounter standing water. I’ve given durability four stars because it’s still too early to judge, but overall, given the price, at least for the car I currently own I’m sure I’ll stick with this model. I believe the performance is far better than that of the higher-priced premium brands in the same segment. Bear in mind the car I drive and its weight (over 1,500 kg); I don’t know how they would perform on smaller or lighter vehicles. This was the first time I’d fitted Toyos, and at least on my tyres it says they’re made in Japan. I had thought they would be produced in the European factory.

Tires used on the track and for leisure. I am very satisfied with them and do not see any difference from the major brands.
