Excellent choice, I recommend it.
I’ve already worn through quite a few sets, alternating between Michelin PS4s and Yokohamas. They last a bit less, but the casing is stiffer and, for me, the grip is better in very hard driving.
I can say that I’m delighted with these tyres. I’ve used them on track, on twisty roads and on the motorway (for trips), and they haven’t let me down at any point. In both dry and wet conditions, the grip is outstanding. For track use, you need to warm them up a bit, but as soon as they reach operating temperature they’re incredible for a road tyre.
They wear out quickly but they are effective; I bought them again. To my surprise, the front set wore out at the same time as the rear and, towards the end of their life, they showed some irregular wear on the tread (tyre pressures are checked every time the car is used) and a lot of noise, as I say, at the end of their service life.
Very good quality tyres. I used to have Michelin Pilot, but these ones really surprised me. I will fit another set.
Perfect compound, rigid sidewalls, high grip in corners and on dry roads, slightly noisy, exceptional handling.
Best price-to-quality ratio... you get even more than you pay for. The hotter they get, the more they grip, and they don’t lose traction like some more expensive UHP tyres. Firm sidewalls, phenomenal response. I’ve tried the PS5 and Goodyear Assy 6… the V107 are a class above when it comes to grip.
Everything is perfect, I repeat, very good price, in the dry they are amazing, nothing to envy about the Michelin Pilot Sport S, and in the wet they perform quite well. In summary, 9/10.
My second set. The first lasted 100,000 km but had to be replaced all round. Top tyres.
Very good grip on wet track.
