Good quality winter tyres. I haven’t driven much, but they perform very well in winter conditions.
Short and sweet – you need to know what you’re looking for and what to expect, but overall a top tyre – the price/performance ratio is truly unbeatable. Yes, of course you don’t get a dry-grip monster. But you do get a very solid all-rounder. I do lots of track days with my M135i, but I also drive on the road and wanted to combine all of that in one tyre, and if it’s allowed to go sideways through a few corners now and then, it shouldn’t be too precious either. Grip level on the track is as expected for the price, not really loud on the road, not dangerous in the wet, nice tread pattern and, above all, it lasts a very long time; it’s relatively hard. So far I’ve done 3 track days and 4,000 km on the road, with a bit of drifting, and the tread is still over 50% of the original. Exactly right for my purpose. Anyone chasing lap records will probably choose a different tyre – but then they’ll also accept paying 2.5 times as much and making compromises in every other respect.
Great tyres. It’s the third set I’ve bought over the years. That says all you need to know about my opinion.
