Brand presentation Continental

Even though it is much better known for passenger and heavy truck tyres, the German brand is nevertheless making headway into the motorcycle segment. For example, in 2012 Continental's motorcycle tyres were approved to be part of the BMW S1000RR original equipment .

Moreover, one of the first move of Continental in 2013 was to publish a catalog of its new motorcycle and scooter tyres. In order to do so, the brand called on Phillipe Gurel, a passionate illustrator to draw vivid depictions of Continental's motorcycle range.

This move underlines Continental's desire to restore motorcycle tyres to their rightful place.

The best tyre I’ve ever ridden; I even have it on my supersport bike now. Endless grip, even in the wet; with 174 hp it lasts 8,000–10,000 kilometres and lets the bike tip effortlessly into tight corners, making it noticeably more agile. It’s also very co-operative when being fitted and removed.

Great rear tyre. Excellent grip in sand and very good on the road as well. You can tell they're knobblies; they vibrate a bit more than regular road tyres, but you quickly get used to that. Ordering through GRip500 was also excellent: sharp prices and fast delivery!

Pleasant tyre to drive on, no problems. The predecessor lasted 8,600 km; the front tyre of the previous set still has plenty of tread left.
