The Roadtec 01 SE sport touring tire by Metzeler, inspired by the Roadtec 01, delivers better performance than its predecessor on wet surfaces, thanks to the new design of its cross grooves, shaped like a saber, and others shaped like a drop, which allow for grip on low-adhesion surfaces. The mileage is higher, and the sport features are more pronounced, especially in terms of agility. The smoother shoulders (higher full / void ratio) optimize cornering and road handling. The balance is enhanced by a fine and homogeneous silica rubber compound.

I have been using this tyre (and its predecessor) on my motorcycles for a long time. Unfortunately, the front tyre does not last as long as two rear tyres.

This tyre really lasts a long time, I've just driven 2000 with it. It heats up quickly and is great on wet and dry surfaces. It gives a lot of confidence in corners because the outside of the tyre has the right soft compound. Highly recommended.
