Excellent feel and warms up very quickly. The rear is on its way and I got the bike with a ruined front. I’ve previously ridden on Dunlop and Bridgestone tyres on similar bikes, 650s and 1250s, and this feels better. I can’t comment on longevity, however wet performance was very good even before it was fully run in.

fine tyre have already worn out 7 sets :-) stable tyre even at lean angles perfect in the rain and in dry weather. with extreme use.... eventually it will start to slide and it becomes too much for this type of tyre but then you are really pushing it!!! lifespan up to the wear indicators on the side > rear 7500 km, front tyre 8500 km
The Metzeler M7 has good self-damping. Grip in the dry, like any other sports tyre on the road, is more than enough. No problems in the rain either. It needs 2-3 kilometres when cold to feel comfortable. Mileage: Front 4500, Rear 3200.
