The GT version of the Road 6 launched in 2022, the Road 6 GT from Michelin is the successor to the Road 5 GT. It is the brand's "must-have" road tire with significant improvements such as deeper notches and more grooves, sipes with even more optimized angles for flawless grip even on wet roads (Water EverGrip technology), 15% more grip compared to version 5. An additional carcass ply has been added to ensure a very high load capacity and better longevity.

I always fit Michelin, like Eldiablo.
Very good and reliable tyre
Super good tyre
Rides well. I expect it to last 30,000 km until the wear indicators are reached, just like my previous one. I can’t really compare, as my road bikes have always run on Michelin GT tyres. That will probably remain the case; expert reviews rate them highly and the prices are acceptable.
Great tyres. The front tyre does cup, but all tyres do that on the FJR. The rear can become squared off on the motorway, but if you tour regularly and take corners it stays nicely round. My best ever was 30,000 on the rear tyre.
The best tyre for the FJR
I have only driven 1,200 kilometres on these tyres, and all in dry conditions, so I cannot comment on every aspect.
This tyre has a positive effect on handling. It turns in steadily and remains neutral when leaned over.
This is my sixth Road 6 GT. It lasts for about 7–10 thousand kilometres and performs well all the way. A good buy for the Busa.
Good compromise.
