Description

Designed to be used on vintage machines, this tubeless Road Classic reference from Michelin has the beauty of a classic look, but does not forget its main objective. Therefore, the tread features smooth areas in the center and shoulders to provide maximum grip on dry roads. For riding on wet ground, the tire uses its 26% grooving rate to drain water and 100% silica compound, so that the temperature rises quickly. The structure of the tire here is based on Bias Belted technology, with two carcass plies, these support the load function and contribute to the stability of the tire. The two upper layers surround the component to prevent tire deformation to maintain the same contact surface with the road surface.

So far, I've driven 2500 km in 2 weeks on the 110/90 18" Mich. ROAD classic. I'm using it tubeless. Perhaps it needs to be rebalanced. It was dry and grip was in no way an issue. The conditions were also not challenging. Dry pavement is fine. Stability is also fine. Other items not checked. I usually do 15,000 km with a front tire, so the current 2500 km is not yet representative.

Very good tyre in terms of road handling, I don't recognise my bike. Self-installation is a bit more complicated, maybe due to my method, but for me, it's a choice without regret.

Excellent tyre, came in about a week so not to long a wait. would buy from this company again, only thing is bad is the tracking is very poor, gives you a idea the tyre is on the way but thats about it , should improve the tracking and would give them 10/10
