Description

MICHELIN Starcross 6 Hard is a motocross tyre specifically developed to deliver maximum performance on hard terrains. Not approved for road use, it is intended for demanding off-road and competition riders.

Thanks to MICHELIN Adaptive Design technology, this tyre ensures better traction and optimised handling on compact or mixed surfaces. It is also the first off-road tyre in the range to incorporate Michelin Silica technology, which strengthens the tread blocks for increased durability.

Developed in collaboration with professional riders, this model is commonly used in national and international championships. It stands out for its consistent grip and long-lasting adhesion, even in the most demanding conditions.

Recommended pressure: 0.9 bar (13 PSI)
Minimum pressure: 0.8 bar (11.6 PSI)

I used to use Mitas C10 or Michelin Enduro, but the Starcross 6 has great grip and a well-distributed tread pattern. The hard compound knobs handle traction perfectly on muddy terrain with rocks and grass, and it performs very well over logs, but especially on greasy and rocky terrain, it's excellent at pressures of 0.6, 0.7, and 0.8 bars. The Michelin Enduro on the rear, changed at the same time, is already quite worn, and the Starcross seems more durable in terms of wear on the front than its Michelin Enduro predecessor.
