They seem good, the tires, we'll see now after 2 rides with my first experience with real off-road tires, and I can already say I've never received so much confidence back from the tires and really loose sand with fairly deep tracks from agricultural vehicles. Now let's see if the lifespan is also that good. Happy with them. Best regards, E. Bouwers
The tyre ordered did not match the order, return via AI NO such customer service, more than 15 days before being refunded, problem management is not great... It would be so much easier to handle with a HUMAN.
The Dakar version shows many differences compared to the previous E09. Very rigid tyre, with great longevity and resistance, ideal for long journeys on dry terrain, where we need to ensure that the tyre can withstand 4000/5000km without issue. I do not recommend it for lighter bikes, as the traction/longevity ratio is quite poor. Performance on damp/wet terrain is miserable, it feels like a plastic tyre.
Excellent tyre. For the Yamaha Tenere 700 World Raid, it has exceptional performance.
Great
Order was excellent and fast!
Excellent for off-road, good for asphalt.
Tyres that grip well off-road, they even excel in "soft" conditions. On the road, the front axle shows a bit of imprecision, but it holds the road nonetheless. Whistling noises start at around 100 km/h. The front starts to wander from 130 km/h, and if the rear is loaded, wobbling begins at 130 km/h. You can't have something for nothing, this tyre is made for off-road (about 70/30).
pleasant tires, I did the TET Sweden/Norway/Finland with them with full load. The last 2000 km back on the highway at about 120 km/h and 27 degrees. Then the front tire started to wear out very quickly. Nothing else to note.
Excellent grip on paths and roads ... dry. You can lean without problems even with its well-presented knobs - "normal" noise given the knobs. Good grip on dry paths and good on muddy terrains (considering the weight of the Ténéré, be careful on mud!). Very good longevity given our sporty driving on road and paths. Third front / rear set bought - I recommend.
