I buy my car and motorcycle tyres from this site. First-class service. Regarding the Mitas: I switched to Mitas because of the mileage compared with the Pirelli STR (and because it’s a European manufacturer that still produces 100% in Europe). My thinking was that if KTM fits various bikes with Mitas as original equipment, they can’t be that bad. What can I say? Whether it’s damp and just above zero degrees Celsius on the Großglockner or a dusty 40 °C on Croatian gravel, the tyre delivers. Personally, it seems to perform better at temperatures just above freezing than in the heat, but that could be down to my riding style and the bike itself. I now have 12,000 km on the front tyre and 10,000 km on the rear. Performance is still as flawless as on day one, and I reckon I can add another 3–4,000 kilometres before replacement. And yes, my next set will be another Mitas Terraforce-R from Reifenleader.at.
