Good tyres, but since the roads in Lithuania aren’t that winding, the middle wears the most. They could last more kilometres than 7,000. Good road holding, good tyres.
Great tyre and great seller
Excellent value for money. This set of tyres kept me upright through some pretty gross beginner mistakes that probably should have put me on the deck, honestly (a big abrupt grab of the brakes while leaned over, oops). I’ve done about 4,000 km on this set. The front tyre is almost like new; the rear is starting to show a slight flat spot that’s only noticeable to the touch (down to the single-compound?), not when leaning over. The tyres require virtually no warm-up time (I rarely ride when it’s below 15°C); you set off and they grip. I haven’t ridden in the rain or in cold weather (I’m not equipped to ride below 10°C), so I can’t comment on that. I have, however, ridden on damp and greasy roads and, again, nothing to complain about. This set replaces a 10-year-old set of BT16 Pros that were as squared-off as you like, so the comfort improvement is obviously huge. Turn-in is progressive and inspires confidence. You don’t feel like you’re falling into corners. I recommend them for all beginners: they’re economical, very reassuring, and so far they seem to last.

So far, I’ve only covered 600 km, mainly off-road on gravel, loose and compact sand, and mud. It hasn’t disappointed. It certainly doesn’t fall short of my other wheel set fitted with Michelin Tracker tyres. For a knobbly tyre, it’s also quite pleasant on the road. I’ll be fitting these again. An ideal TET tyre.
So far I’m very happy with this rear tyre; it performs very well on the road and off-road too. It only needs a bit more side tread so the slide doesn’t get quite so uncontrolled, or a bit more grip when you’re leaning further off-road, but of course you can’t have everything, as you’d lose confidence on asphalt. Bearing this in mind, be careful on mud and wet grass; otherwise it’s excellent.
