The Pirelli Scorpion Trail 3 tyre model represents the latest generation of adventure and crossover motorcycle tyres, offering a marked sporty behaviour. Compound:
The new full silica-based compounds for the front and rear improve performance on dry and wet surfaces. The rear sizes are bi-compound with a softer band on the shoulders thanks to different plasticising resins, which improves grip in corners. The front compound is similar to that of the centre of the rear, offering great stability and wear resistance.
Structure:
The high-rigidity structure, which supports the profile and ensures sporty handling, is directly derived from superSport and Sport-touring experience. The structure cords have a higher linear density and increased rigidity, enhancing lateral thrust for better trajectory precision and stability when leaning. Additionally, this ensures that the original performance is maintained throughout the tyre's life.
Tread design:
The tread design is an evolution and improvement of the Scorpion Trail II, offering better control and greater stability. The asymmetrical repositioning of the grooves increases its efficiency and the robustness of the contact area for better high-speed performance while maintaining the off-road spirit on dirty roads.
Profiles:
Directly derived from Sport-touring with a multi-radius approach, the profiles increase the sporty feel with progressive and confident behaviour thanks to the rounded profile and increased overall width.
