I searched for a long time for a quality winter tyre without a V-shaped tread pattern, as the choice is very limited here. The V-shaped tread tends to cause cupping on my car despite a perfectly set-up suspension (I had this problem with two sets of Far Eastern products). The Conti TS830 runs smoothly and has very good grip on ice and snow. I have nothing to criticise about its wet-weather performance. On coarse diagonal road surface irregularities, the tyre feels a little vague. I would also like to highlight that the tyre is not directional (inside/outside). The tyres I ordered had been manufactured 11 months before the order. As for service life, after around 1,500 km I can’t yet make any statement. So far, I have not noticed any significant increase in fuel consumption.
I ordered them for my ski holiday in Austria because the old ones were too unsafe. They were delivered within the promised time. But they’re the same tyres I always use in winter.
I am very satisfied with the tyre. However, as there is no choice in this size, I also have no possibility of comparison.

For the price-quality ratio, nothing to complain about. The tyres were second-hand and honestly, they are practically new and almost half the price. This is the second time I've bought second-hand winter tyres from the site and I'm always satisfied.
