After about 40,000 km, I decided to go for a new Pirelli winter tire and I have to say that my current verdict is that Hankook is the better tire. More stable lateral guidance on high-speed highways, less rolling noise, and better braking performance. Hankook is a tire that I can only recommend to any sporty long-distance driver.
I find them generally very good.
