The Maxxis Vansmart A/S AL2 235/60 R17C 117/115R 8PR 3PMSF is aimed at vans and light commercial vehicles. It’s a 4-season tyre that meets the highest requirements for light truck fleets. The central 3-rib tread design makes for a good driving experience on wet or snowy roads. The 3D sipe design gives you safe traction in wintry driving conditions. The rubber compound with its silica content helps improve moisture resistance and rolling resistance. Increased rigidity of the shoulder blocks reduces wear and thus enables extremely high mileage even with the heaviest vehicle loads.

The old ones lasted 16 years and were also put under quite a lot of strain from time to time due to overloading. The tread had now split, and I needed replacements. As I never know when I will need the trailer, and when I do, I really need it, I bought the tyres with the snowflake symbol. They were a bit more expensive, but if I do happen to be out and about in winter, no one can take issue with that.
