Thanks to its optimised lines, the Pilot Sport 4 215/40 ZR18 89Y XL, DT1, MFS provides excellent grip on both wet and dry pavement. “BI-COMPOUND” technology.

Driving precision, control and high responsiveness

The new "dynamic response" technology consists of a belt made of mixed materials of aramid and reinforced nylon to ensure optimal trajectory control.
Thanks to its very high resistance and strong toughness (five times stronger than steel) and especially thanks to its lightweight fiber, its high-speed strength can be well controlled and the tire's contact surface remains constant.

Safety and braking on wet ground: More rubber on the road

These high levels of performance have been achieved thanks to a new very uniform rubber blend, which includes functional elastomers and silica. In addition, the wide and deep longitudinal grooves can effectively drain water on wet roads. This new blend will also optimize the tire's lifespan and its energy efficiency.

A specific design, with a velvet effect and rim protector

Offering better rim protection, the design of the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 also allows it to ensure excellent contact with MICHELIN Premium Touch technology.
