The Michelin Primacy 5 profile stands out for its ability to meet the demands of a wide range of vehicles, from compact cars to saloons, as well as SUVs, medium 4x4s, and even some electric vehicles. This model is designed to offer drivers an optimised and serene driving experience.
The main features of the Michelin Primacy 5 profile include:
The MICHELIN Primacy 5 tyre is designed to maintain a high level of safety when driving on wet roads. When new, it reduces wet braking distance by 4% and maintains equivalent performance once worn, compared with the Primacy 4+. This consistency contributes to more reassuring everyday use.
Rated “A” for wet grip under European labelling, this tyre features MICHELIN EverGrip and MICHELIN EverTread technologies. Its optimised tread pattern and redesigned tread promote efficient water evacuation, ensuring effective braking throughout its service life, without compromising longevity.
The Primacy 5 summer tyre is designed to offer extended service life while maintaining a high level of safety. It delivers an 18% mileage gain compared with the previous generation, meeting durability expectations.
Thanks to MaxTouch technology, the contact patch with the road is optimised to evenly distribute the forces associated with acceleration, braking and cornering. This design contributes to more even tread wear, without any negative impact on performance. The new patented rubber compound also improves abrasion resistance, enhancing the tyre’s overall longevity.
The Michelin Primacy 5 is designed to adapt to the specific constraints of electric vehicles. Its high-performance rubber compound helps reduce rolling resistance, which contributes to limiting energy consumption and preserving battery range.
Combined with enhanced longevity, its tread pattern has been developed to reduce noise disturbances, particularly noticeable inside an electric vehicle. This design promotes increased driving comfort and a quieter everyday experience.

Great tyres!
Very good, it’s Michelin.
Michelin tyres (a French brand) have never disappointed me for decades. The performance ratings for wet roads, dry roads, etc. are accurate. So no disappointment from this great brand: just a little more expensive, but the quality is there and so is the longevity.
Great, I’m very satisfied.
Excellent road holding on dry and wet roads. I recommend it.
Fast and good delivery.
I bought these tyres to rack up miles, and you can tell they were designed primarily for that. After years with the Continental EcoContact 6, however, I’ve noticed clearly less grip in corners, especially when the tyres are cold, and generally a greater “stiffness”, due in part to the compound, which is slow to wear. Braking distance remains virtually the same, even if they give the impression of being slightly less responsive than the competition. Excellent in the wet despite being summer tyres. Perfect for anyone looking for long-lasting tyres that are still safe for generally calm driving or motorway use; much less recommended for those looking for dynamic tyres that are ready to bite into corners even at low temperatures. Next time I’ll go for Pilot Sport!
Very good purchase
Very good, I am satisfied with my tyres.
So far, very satisfied. Good grip. Very comfortable, but I didn’t expect anything else.
