Versatile performance in all seasons

Season Sense by Nokian is an innovative set of technical features that includes tread design, rubber composition, and tire construction. Nokian has optimized the rubber mixture to improve wet road grip and ensure remarkable longevity and energy efficiency, while revising the tread configuration to guarantee safe and comfortable driving all year round. In addition, the solid construction of the tire, reinforced by Nokian Tyres' patented aramid sidewall technology, ensures exceptional resistance and extends the tire's lifespan.

Tire wear indicator

The Nokian Seasonproof C is equipped with a Wear Indicator, also known as the DSI acronym, which informs the driver of the appropriate time to replace their tires. This indicator shows in millimeters the remaining rubber thickness on the tread and the numbers gradually fade as the tire wears out. A groove thickness between 4 and 5 millimeters is necessary to maintain safe driving during winter. The snowflake sign remains visible until the groove drops below 4 millimeters. Upon the disappearance of this snowflake, it is imperative to replace the tires to continue driving safely.

Improved braking grip and traction

The traction elements located between the tread sections on the tire surface enhance grip, particularly during braking and acceleration phases. These specifically designed elements facilitate driving on snow and other types of loose ground. They firmly grasp these loose grounds during braking and acceleration, thus increasing safety not only on snow, but also on various types of less hard terrains.

I bought these tires to have more grip, especially when pulling my trailer (Opel Vivaro) in wet weather. So far (2-3000 km driven so far) quite satisfied. Good grip, even with the trailer. I do feel like I consume a bit more.
