The Nokian Seasonproof C is equipped with a Wear Indicator, also known as the DSI acronym, which informs the driver of the appropriate time to replace their tires. This indicator shows in millimeters the remaining rubber thickness on the tread and the numbers gradually fade as the tire wears out. A groove thickness between 4 and 5 millimeters is necessary to maintain safe driving during winter. The snowflake sign remains visible until the groove drops below 4 millimeters. Upon the disappearance of this snowflake, it is imperative to replace the tires to continue driving safely.
