The Nokian Tyres Snowproof 2 is fitted with a Driving Safety Indicator (DSI), making it easy to monitor tyre wear. This indicator shows the remaining tread depth in millimetres, with numbers that gradually disappear as the tyre wears.
To maintain a level of safety suited to winter conditions, a tread depth between 4 and 5 millimetres is recommended. The snowflake pictogram remains visible down to 4 millimetres. When this symbol is no longer visible, replacing the tyres with new winter tyres is recommended to maintain optimum safety.
