It’s a good tyre, I’d gladly buy it again!
At the moment I’m very satisfied, but as the tyres are new this review is somewhat limited; for example, longevity cannot be measured. Grip on snowy roads (access to the resort) is remarkable, both uphill and downhill; road holding and steering are impeccable. Noise is moderately audible (compared with a summer tyre). Braking is impeccable; even on black ice they grip rather well. I’m considering buying the same ones again once I’ve managed to wear them out, but also trying a summer version and, why not, an all-season version from this brand, which offers remarkable winter tyres at a reasonable price for performance that is more than sufficient—indeed even better than what I was used to with winter tyres. However, manufacturing techniques are evolving, so other manufacturers must be taking the same approach, it seems to me.
