The Orium tyre brand is recognised for the quality of its products. Orium tyres are manufactured by Tigar Tyres, a company owned by Michelin. Production takes place in a factory located in Pirot, Serbia. This factory, founded in 1935, was originally dedicated to the manufacturing of rubber products.
In 2014, the factory underwent modernisation and expansion, before entering a second phase of expansion. The goal of this work was to make Tigar Tyres’ Serbian factory the second-largest Michelin facility in Europe.
In addition to Orium tyres, the Pirot factory also produces tyres for cars and light commercial vehicles under the Michelin, Tigar, Riken, Kormoran, Strial, and Taurus brands.
